White House
Is there a close and safe place to store my bag during the White House Tour?
I’ll be going on the White House tour. During the tour, purses, other bags, and cameras are not allowed. There is no place at the White House to check a bag. I’d like to do some sightseeing before & after the tour, so I’ll need my bag & camera. I would hate to have to go back to the hotel just to leave these items and come back after. Also, do you know if a wallet is allowed to be carried during the tour?
There are lockers at some of the Smithsonian museums. The American History museum will be the closest option.
