Do you really think DM’s (direct messages) as sales offers work? This is my question to all of you out there who still have not got the message that DM’s are not to sell product, but to say “Thank You”. Thank you for following, how are you, or to send a message you don’t want all the other tweeps to see. Lately I see many marketers addressing this issue, but the majority of tweeters out there still do not get it. I’m not going to lie, guilty! I finally realized my many months back and I began sending people to my Facebook page or other networks I belong to. This has been a tremendous help in getting to know my followers, and learning what they’re all about as well. I’m sure there is a method for blocking out all the sales pitches, but I would much rather educate those of you who are still promoting your product through “Direct Message” and list some suggestions for your DM.
